Antigone
I went to see a play called Antigone.
I really enjoyed the play
Staring the
stroud porming art students.
The play was writen by Sophocles Greek tragedies Oedipus at Antigone.
The Main Characters are:
Antigone (King Oedipus daugher)
King Oedipus of Thebes (Antigone Father)
Jocasta (Antigone Mother)
Ploynices (Antigone Brother)
Ismene (Antigone Sister)
Creon (Queen Eurydice Husbund)
Queen Eurydice (Creon Wife)
Haemon (Creon Son)
Plot
The play is about Antigone the daugher of king Oedipus of Thebes.
Haemon the son of Creon was in love with Antigone but when king Oedipus find that Haemon was in love with his daugher he order Ploynices to fight Haemon.
Antigone buried Ploynices.
When king Oedipus find out that Antigone buried Ploynices, Antigone kill herself.
Haemon kill himself beacuse he find out that Antigone was dead.
